Generation-Z are people born after Generation-X (generally they are the people born between 1970 to 1990). Those who are born after 1990 to present day are called Gen-Z, or Zoomers. Although the exact birth years of Generation Z are not specifically defined, researchers typically use the mid-to-late 1990s as their starting birth years and the early 2010s as ending birth years. This would give you an idea of the ages of people in Gen-Z.
Gen-Z are the young generation born with access to the internet and digital applications, are also dubbed as "digital natives". In fact, not every person born in Gen-Z are digitally literate. The most alarming trait of these youngsters are they are addicted to "screens" either in smartphones, laptops or digital pads and spen their fruitful time browsing or chatting with other in the same generation category.
Compared to the previous generations, members of Generation Z tend to live more slowly than their predecessors when they were their age. Also Gen-Z have lower rates of teenage pregnancies than their predecessors. Additionally, the prevalence of allergies among adolescents and young adults in Generation Z is greater than the general population. Sleep depriviation or sleeplessness, is reported greatly among the Gen-Z.
Around the world, members of Generation Z are spending more time on electronic devices and less time reading books than before, with implications for their attention spans, vocabulary, academic performance and future economic contributions.They show a less active lifestyles than any generations lived before.
Gen Z youth were happy overall with the states of affairs in their personal lives (59%). The most unhappy young people were from South Korea (29%) and Japan (28%) while the happiest hailed from Indonesia (90%) and Nigeria (78%). Gen-Z in India give no heed to religious worshipping and have a tendency to ignore traditional ethics in families. Gen-Z has less interest in business or enterprenuership. But most of them are migrating to foreign countires in search of better future for their life.
In short, a deep analysis and study of the cultural habits of Gen-z will restuructre the marketing and economic areas of activities anywhere in the planet.
